Circus Protest

Yesterday I protested outside the circus in Newark.

Nonhuman animals are majestic, mysterious creatures with rich and intricate lives and stories. They don't volunteer or apply to join the circus the way humans do--rather, they are forcibly removed from their lives, and forced to perform under threat of painful punishment.

There are countless ways to be entertained that don't involve messing around with other animals' lives. For example, the hockey game that was just down the street from the circus. Or for that matter, circuses which don't use nonhuman animals. Let's support kinder forms of entertainment.

Also, activism is incredibly rewarding. Come out and join us sometime :).
